Ghana will go ahead with plans to camp in South Africa ahead of their 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zambia.

Earlier reports claimed the Black Stars will fly straight to Kitwe, Zambia before playing the Chipolopolo on June 9.

Ghana FA Protocol Officer Alex Asante and Black Stars management committee member Felix Ansong inspected three hotels, three training pitches and the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

Head coach Kwesi Appiah will drop one player from the 24-man squad picked to face Lesotho on June 1 at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The Black Stas will be seeking revenge after a 1-0 defeat in the semi-final of the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.

The match will be played at the newly-constructed Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
