Ghana's U17 lost 2-1 to Morocco in the first leg of their international friendly played on Monday, 8 February 2021.

The Young Atlas Lions raced into the lead in the 11th minute through Mesousa who tapped in a rebound after goalkeeper Sylvester Antwi had saved his header.

Seven minutes later, the North Africans doubled their lead courtesy Yassine with curler from the edge of the box.

After the interval, the Black Starlets came back strongly and on the hour mark, Jonas Naafo smashed in a volley to halve the deficit.

The second leg of the friendly will be played on Thursday, 11 February 2021.

The match was played at the Prince Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat.
