Ghana U20 draw to progress in qualifier

Ghana's Under-20 team recorded a 1-1 draw with Namibia on Saturday to advance to the final qualifying round of the 2011 African Youth Championship.

The Black Satellites took the lead through Genoa teenager Richmond Boakye-Yiadom but the Young Warriors drew level after being awarded a controversial penalty.

Ghana have sealed a 5-1 aggregate win to face either Benin or Burkina Faso in September this year for a qualification ticket to next year's finals in Libya.

The Black Satellites won the last African championship in Rwanda; beating Cameroun in the final.
