Goalkeeper Felix Annan as etched his name as a future prospect after impressing with the Ghana Under-20 team which toured Italy.
The ex-Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord graduate was flamboyant as a second half substitute in the Black Satellites 3-0 defeat to Italy's Under-20 side last Wednesday and did not concede a goal.
Annan was handed a starting role in Saturday's painful 1-0 defeat to Serie A side Parma at the Stadio Tardini and scored full marks.
In the second half of the exhibition match, the Asante Kotoko second-choice goalkeeper pulled three great saves to deny Parma.
The 18-year-old past his first test in the off-season when he replaced Abdalai Soulama against rivals Hearts of Oak in Accra in the charity match.
Annan could be named the number choice for Ghana Under-20 coach Orlando Wellington ahead of the 2013 African Youth Championship qualifiers next year.
