The Black Stars of Ghana left Accra on Sunday afternoon via a chartered flight ahead of their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe.

The Black Stars face the Warriors in the return leg in Harare on match day four.

Ghana defeated Zimbabwe 3-1 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Saturday with goals from Mohammed Kudus, Thomas Partey and Andre Ayew.

Warriors captain Knowledge Musona got a consolation for the Southern African country from the penalty spot.

The Ghana Football Association ensured the Black Stars went by a chartered flight straight to Zimbabwe in order to ease the stress and ensure the team is well prepared for their next task.

The team comprising players, technical, management and some selected media are expected to land in the Zimbabwean capital late Sunday evening.

Zimbabwe departed from Accra early Sunday morning and are expected to arrive back home by close of day.

The game comes off on Tuesday October 12 and will be played behind closed doors after CAF rejected a request from the Zimbabwe FA to admit fans.
