VfL Bochum manager Thomas Reis has explained that Christopher Antwi-Adjei missed the Bundesliga game against Hoffenheim due to injury.
According to Reis, the Ghana international has a muscular problem, forcing him to miss the game which ended 3-2 in favour of Hoffenheim.
"He dropped out due to a muscular problem. I can't yet say how long he will be absent," explained VfL Bochum's head coach Thomas Reis after the game.
Antwi-Adjei had missed the first game against FSV Mainz 05, which means he has yet to make his debut this season.
He joined Bochum on a free transfer in July 2021 and contributed a goal and four assists in 28 appearances last season.
His contract runs until June 2024.
