Ghana Women's Premier League: Berry Ladies beat Immigration 3-2 in season opener

Berry ladies opening game of the season with Immigration ladies ended up in five-goal thriller at the Madina Astroturf pitch on Saturday.

Berry Ladies had the first shot at goal in the 12th minute through a long drive by Cynthia Boakye Yiadom but the goalkeeper was up to the task and save the ball.

Nina Norshie broke the deadlock in the 19th minute to score the first goal of the game from a corner kick as she headed the ball into the net.

The first half ended with Berry Ladies heading into the break with a 1-0 lead against Immigration Ladies.

After recess, Francisca Asabea got the equalizer for Immigration.

Eugenia Korkor Tetteh increased the lead for Berry Ladies with her strike on the 64th minute.

Rumanatu Tahiru levelled it up for Immigration Ladies in the 84th minute.

Eugene Korkor Tetteh got her brace with a goal late in the game to seal the win for Berry Ladies.
