Ghana U23 defender Kingsley Fobi marked his debut for Granada CF on Sunday in the Spanish La Liga against Real Sociedad.

Fobi was introduced in the game at the start of the second half replacing Brazilian defender Kenedy.

Goals from Nacho Monreal and Mikel Oryarzabal were enough for Sociedad to beat Granada 2-0 at the Estadio Anoeta.

The 22-year-old right-back moved to Recreativo Granada, the reserve team of Granada in the summer from English side Watford FC.

Fobi previously had stints with the Granada U19 from 2016 to 2017 before joining Watford.

He was part of the Ghana squad at the 2019 U23 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

He has represented Ghana at the U17 and U20 FIFA World Cups.
