Ghanaian Arwuah gets work permit for Bloemfontein Celtic

Bloemfontein Celtic midfielder John Arwuah will be able to make his debut for the club against Black Leopards on Saturday.

Arwuah missed the MTN8 quarterfinal loss to Orlando Pirates last weekend after his work permit failed to be processed in time.

But having now received his paperwork, he is in line for a first-team place after coach Clinton Larsen was forced to use club captain Thabo Nthethe in his defensive midfield role last weekend.

"I’m over the moon about finally receiving my papers. But most importantly, I’m happy I’ll have a chance to play for Celtic. I have always loved them since my arrival in the country. I’ve come here to help them win trophies,” he told the club’s website.

“We expect a tough game against Leopards and I will help my team do well if selected. We are going all out for a win and the worst result will be a draw. We are aiming very high this season.” he said.
