Germany-born Ghanaian defender Anton-Leander Donkor scored his very first goal for new club Eintracht Braunschweig in the Bundesliga 2 on Saturday.

Donkor was on the scoresheet when Fortuna Dusseldorf came from behind twice to draw 2-2 with Braunschweig at the Eintracht-Stadion.

Midfielder Robin Krausse scored the opening goal of the match to put the home side ahead in the 56th minute but the lead was cut short five minutes later.

French midfielder Nicolas Gavory scored in the 61st minute to draw Dusseldorf level.

Braunschweig restored their advantage in the 70th minute after Donkor found the back of the net only for Dusseldorf to draw level again a minute later through Marcel Sobottka.

The former Germany U18 and U20 left-back signed for Braunschweig this summer from SV Waldhof Mannheim.
