Ghanaian defender Derrick Luckassen is expected to end his loan deal with Anderlecht in January transfer window.

The central defender has little prospect of playing time and the Belgians are open to a transfer to a new club.

PSV is also needed for this, as the Eindhoven team rented him to the Belgian club for a season last summer.

PSV extended Luckassen's contract until mid-2023 before departing for Anderlecht.

He has had a total of 17 minutes since October 4 and It doesn't look like many minutes will be added at this point.

However, a possible return to Eindhoven is rather sensitive, because he previously stated that he did not have much pleasure from his previous periods at the club.

He preferred not to even go back, he once said in an interview.

The 25-year-old played on loan at Anderlecht in the 2019/20 season and impressed greatly. But he has struggled this season and is not trusted by coach Vincent Kompany.
