Dutch-born Ghanaian forward Elton Acolatse marked his debut for Hapoel Be'er Sheva in their 3-0 win against Nes Tziona in the Israeli Premier League over the weekend.

Acolatse joined the Camels from Belgian side Sint Truiden on a six-month deal with an obligation to purchase at the end of the campaign.

The striker was quickly handed his debut by coach Barak Bakhar in their Week 23 encounter against Nes Tziona.

He gave a good account of himself with splendid link up play and threat on the flanks but failed to get off the mark as he was substituted in the 79th minute.

The 24-year-old made 18 league appearances for Sint-Truiden in the first half of the ongoing campaign, scoring two goals in 18 games.

He is still under contract with STVV until mid-2021.

The Ajax academy graduate was one of the four Dutch players of Ghanaian origin who were monitored by former Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah last year.

He has played in all of the Netherlands national team youth sides.
