Ghanaian midfielder Abdul Samed Salis has been named in the French Ligue 1 Team of the Week following his impressive display for Lens against Troyes.
The 22-year-old, who lasted the entire duration of the 1-0 victory over Troyes, was outstanding in the middle of the park, proving a link between defense and attack.
Samed's teammate and match winner Kevin Danso also made the squad alongside Paris Saint Germain star Neymar.
"Another home win, Thank you bollaert for this atmosphere," wrote Samed on social media after the game.
Abdul Samed Salis has been in top form for Lens since joining in the summer transfer window from Clermont Foot.
He has made seven appearances and scored a goal in the French Ligue 1 in the 2022/23 season. Lens remain unbeaten in Ligue 1 this season, and are just behind PSG on the table.
