Ghanaian midfielder Baba Alhassan scores brace in FC Hermannstadt win against Steaua Bucuresti

Ghanaian midfielder Baba Alhassan scored a brace for FC Hermannstadt in their 4-1 win against Steaua Bucuresti.

The 22-year-old scored the opening goal of the game in the 13th minute to put Hermannstadt in the lead.

The former Berane midfielder increased the lead for Hermannstadt in the 27th minute with another goal.

Alhassan scored with a header from a corner kick.

Bogdan Chipirliu reduced the deficit for Steaua Bucuresti before the half-time break with his goal.

In the second half Hermannstadt were awarded a penalty in the 80th minute.

Valentin Buhacianu was up to the task and scored from the spot-kick to seal the win for the away side.
