Ghanaian midfielder Kwasi Sibo has signed for Spanish top-flight club Real Betis.

Sibo has agreed a two-year deal with the La Liga outfit and confirmed the transfer on his Twitter account on Monday.

He wrote: New Chapter, new home and new family. God is the reason thanks to everyone who made this possible, another goal to be focused on. [I am] happy to be here and ready to work hard to help this family in all competitions."

The move confirms his departure from English side Watford. He joined them from Armenian club FC Urartu Yerevan in 2018.

Watford loaned him out three times. He first joined Skenderbeu in Albania before spending the last two seasons on loan at UD Ibiza.

The WA-born had a year remaining on his Watford contract but decided to leave since it was clear the club had no plans for him.

His career started in Ghana at Cheetah FC.
