Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has been included in Atletico Madrid’s squad for their UEFA Champions League game against Benfica.
The 22-year-old is among a 20-man squad announced by manager Diego Simeone as they make the trip to the Estadio da Luz.
Partey’s inclusion amplifies his immense talent at the club as he searches for his fourth successive game for the Spanish side.
Atletico and Benfica are tied on 10 points at the top of their group and have already qualified for the last 16 but will be keen to secure first place and theoretically avoid any of Europe's big guns in the draw on December 14.
