Promising midfielder Thomas Partey was among 18 Ghanaian scorers abroad over the weekend after the international break. 

The 22-year-old scored in Atletico Madrid's heavy win on Saturday.

Black Stars pair of Majeed Waris and Ebenezer Assifuah also got on the score-sheet for Lorient and FC Sion respectively.

There was a goal for Clifford Aboagye in Spain as well as Patrick Nyarko in the USA.

Other players including Patrick Twumasi, Nasiru Mohammed, Thomas Bokaye, Tariqe Fosu, Bernard Tekpetey, Okyere Wriedt, Chris Dickson, Erich Berko, Isaac Sackey, Samuel Owusu and Nana Poku all scored for their clubs over the weekend.

Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu made vital contribution for Udinese and youngster Asumah Abubakari made his debut in the Dutch Eredivisie.

BELGIUM

Bennard Kumordzi was unused by Genk who lost 1-0 at Anderlecht. Winger Frank Acheampong was not in the Anderlecht squad for the game.
