Ghanaian quintet arrive with TP Mazembe team in Japan

The Ghanaian quintet of Solomon Asante, Gladson Awako, Richard Kissi-Boateng, Yaw Frimpong and Daniel Nii Adjei have arrived with their TP Mazembe teammates in Japan for the start of the 2015 FIFA Club World Cup.

The Ravens are returning to the Club World Cup following their successful campaign in the CAF Champions League.

TP Mazembe will be lodging at the luxurious Continental Hotel in Japan’s third largest city of Osaka.

The Congolese giants will however not be in action until the quarter final stage on Sunday where they will face the winner of the game between Sanfrecce Hiro and Auckland City.

The Club World Cup offers a unique opportunity for especially the five Ghanaian players in the TP Mazembe side to showcase themselves to potential suitors.
