Ghanaian Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer scores brace in Dynamo Dresden win in Germany

Germany youth international of Ghanaian descent Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer was influential as he scored two goals in Dynamo Dresden’s victory over the weekend.

Ransford-Yeboah scored in each half of the 3-1 win against Karlsruher in Bundesliga II on Sunday.

Dynamo lacked the self-confidence and accuracy on the way forward in the first half - certainly due to the series of defeats in recent weeks as the half produced no goal.

After the break, things suddenly happened in quick succession. First Königsdörffer brought the home side 1-0 through a single action. Before his first goal of the season, the 20-year-old prevailed against three Karlsruher players. However, only five minutes later Schleusener equalized.

Dresden did not give up and took the lead again through Königsdörffer. This time the attacker hit a header from a corner.

Christoph Daferner ensured there was no back for the away side as he scored the third goal eight minutes after Kyoung Rok Choi was sent off for Karlsruher.

The goals were the forward's first and second this season.
