Ghanaian attacker Issah Abass made his debut for FC Twente in their 2-2 draw against FC Groningen in the Dutch Eredivise last Sunday.

Abass came off the bench to replace Dutch midfielder Thijs van Leeuwen in the 60th minute and he put in an impressive display.

The 22-year-old could make his debut on Sunday after being granted his work permit by Dutch authorities two days to the match.

Abass joined Twente on loan from German side Mainz 05 in early January, however, due to the unavailability of his work permit his debut delayed by two weeks.

The Asokwa-born is not a novice to the Dutch top-flight as he featured for FC Utrecht last season. He contributed to three goals in 15 league games.
