Ghanaian winger Isaac Atanga trains for the first time at FC Cincinnati

Ghana youth international Isaac Atanga participated in his first training at MLS side FC Cincinnati on Monday. 

The 20-year-old joined the Major League Soccer side in the winter transfer window but his move to the United States was delayed due to paper works.

However, the former FC Nordsjaelland winger finally arrived in North America, and was involved in practice yesterday as he prepare to make his debut.

"It's wonderful. I've been waiting for this for a long time and finally I am here. I am really happy and excited to be here," he said in his first interview with the club.

"I am very impressed by the facilities here. I've been to the stadium and the facilities here is top class. It's amazing," added the pacy winger.

Atanga joined the MLS club on a three year deal with an option of extending for a further two years.

The Right to Dream Academy graduate could make his MLS debut when FC Cincinnati face Orlando City on May 1, 2021.
