FC Twente Enschede have completed the signing of Ghanaian youngster Abass Issah on loan from Bundesliga side 1.FSV Mainz 05, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The 22-year-old is joining the Dutch Eredivisie side until the end of the 2020/2021 season in search of regular playing minutes.
Issah has made only three appearances in all competitions for Mainz this season.
He returned to Mainz in June 2020 after a successful loan spell at FC Utretcht in the Dutch top-flight in the 2019/2020 campaign.
Issah made 22 appearances in all competitions where he scored 8 goals and provided two assists in the process.
The Ghana U23 forward joined Mainz in August 2018 from Slovenian outfit NK Olimpija Ljubljana.
The former Asokwa Deportivo FC star was a member of the Ghana squad at the 2019 U23 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
