Ghanaian youngster Ahmed Awua Ankrah's impressive displays at youth level has been rewarded with first team call-up for Parma's upcoming game.
The 19-year-old defensive midfielder has been included in Parma's squad for the Serie B clash against Brescia on Wednesday evening.
Awua is the Captain of Parma's U19 side in the Italian Primavera division. His consistent and leadership has received rave remarks in the youth league
Over the weekend, Ahmed Awua was rated 7 by italian online portal Mondoprimavera for his performance against Udinese in a 3-1 victory at home.
Parma manager Giuseppe Iachini has shown strong interest in the 19 year old who continue to impress the technical team.
Ahmed Awua has been training with the first team in recent weeks while playing for the junior side.
He was voted as the best player in this year's Vignola Youth Youth pre-season tournament.
