Ghanaian youngster Edmund Addo inspired to score more goals after Slovakian league recognition

Ghanaian midfielder, Edmund Addo is making a mark on the Slovakia Super Liga after joining FK Senica a year ago.

Edmund was recently ranked as the 7th best player in the league after 13 matches this season. He was also voted as the best player by the Daily Sports newspaper last year.

In a watsapp chat with the 20 year old, he revealed that the recent rankings has become a source of motivation for him to work extra hard to become a better version of himself.

QUE: You've started this season very well with three goals to your name. How do you feel about your performances so far this season?

Ans: I'm feeling very good and happy about my performance in the ongoing league, All glory to God Almighty! I'm still hoping to give all my best and push harder for my club and career.

Que: What were your goals prior to the start of the league season?

Ans: My goal is to improve on my performance last season and to help Senica to a higher position on the league table. I want to score more goals and hopefully bag an awards for myself.

Que: How many goals more do you think you can score before the end of the season?

Ans: Goals occur by creating scoring chances , so I want to score more at the end of the season by taking advantage of situations and opportunities that can result goals . But am hoping to score not less than 5 goals ..

Que: What aspect of your game have you improved on this season?

Ans: Thanks to my technical team, I believe I'm improving every aspect of my game. Particularly, my decision making, shooting and tackling abilities, do impress my coaches. I'm getting better with each game.

Que: Last season you were rated as the best player in the Slovakia league. The latest rating puts you at seventh. Are you disappointed?

Ans: First of all I want to thank the league, media and supporters for honouring me as the best player in the league last season. This season am not disappointed at all for being ranked 7th, in fact, it's a great motivation for me to work harder now and become the better version of myself. I give glory to God for the recognition.

Your club FK Senica continue to struggle in the league. Are you confident that results will change soon?

Ans: Off course ! I'm very confident that at the end of the season, we'll be at a better position on the league table. My management, colleagues and I are very focused and will make FK Senica great again.
