Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Besea says he is honoured after receiving praises from Venezia FC president, Joe Tacopina.

Besea joined the Serie B side during the January transfer window on loan from Frosinone Calcio after enduring a difficult season with the Canaries where he failed to register a single appearance in the first half of the campaign.

The former Modena youth product has already made a mark in the two games he has featured for Walter Zenger's side.

The 21-year-old's performance for the side has not gone unnoticed after club's president Joe Tacopina lavished praises on him.

"I thank the president and I'm happy with my placement. I hope to stay in the team's project again. I will continue to assert myself and deserve the trust of Mr. Zenga. We are many in midfield and we all fight to play as owners . Obviously, the coach bets on who pushes more, on who is better for the general good," he told tuttob.com

Venezia were languishing in the drop zone with 22 points after 19 game matches but the help from Besea has taken the side to 13th spot, with a game to spare.
