Ghana midfielder Bernard Mensah has hailed the performance of his Besiktas’ teammates in the 3-0 victory at Genclerbirligi on Monday.
The Black Eagles tore apart Genclerbirligi in their meeting on matchday 25 of the Turkish Supaliga at the Eryanam Stadium.
On-loan Leicester City midfielder Rachid Ghezzal broke the game’s deadlock on the 4th minute.
Two late goals from Cenk Tosun ensured the visitors left the stadium with the maximum points.
The win means Besiktas are now 2nd on the standings with 51 points, same as table toppers Galatasaray and 3rd place side Fenerbahce.
Mensah, who played 78 minutes for Besiktas, took to social media to eulogize his teammates for their efforts.
