What happened to Nigeria was just a tip of the iceberg as Guinea aims to do even worse to Ghana at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Syli National prevented the Super Eagles from qualifying to next yearââ¬â¢s finals but Guineaââ¬â¢s Technical Director, Sheriff Souleymane insists fellow West Africa giants, Ghana will be the next major casualty.
The Black Stars needed a late Sulley Muntari strike to beat the Guineans the last time both teams met in the opening game of the 2008 Nations Cup which Ghana hosted.
However, Souleymane is certain that the next meeting between the two, possibly at next yearââ¬â¢s CAN will end in agony for the Ghanaians just like they did to Nigeria.
ââ¬ÅWe have been building a team for some time now so I wasnââ¬â¢t surprised at what we did against Nigeria,â⬠the 1972 African Player of the Year told GHANAsoccernet.com.
ââ¬ÅYou saw what happened when we last played against Ghana in the African Cup?
ââ¬ÅI can assure you they (Ghana) will suffer even more when we meet again in the Nations Cup, even more than Nigeria.
"We are very much prepared and do not fear anybody, including Ghana so everyone should just watch out for Guinea in the tournamentââ¬
Seeded Ghana in pot A could play Guinea in pot B as early as at the group stage if they draw each other in Saturdayââ¬â¢s Afcon draw in Malabo.
