Opinions are sharply divided after news broke early Saturday morning of striker Asamoah Gyan's move to UAE club Al-Ain.

Sunderland agreed to a one-year loan deal for the 25-year-old after just spending one season of his four-year contract with the Black Cats.

However, the news has been received with mixed reactions, with some sections believing the move was motivated by the huge financial gains involved as against playing in one of the most competitive leagues in the world.

Others also believe the move is a step in the right direction for the ex Renne striker after it emerged he was one of the lowest paid players in the EPL despite his world class status.

So do you think Asamoah Gyan's move to UAE club Al-Ain is good or bad?
