Hearts defender Bonsu faces anxious wait to discover extent of injury

Hearts have been left sweating on Osei Bonsu’s fitness after the defender suffered a suspected knee injury during the first half of Sunday’s thrilling  3-2 comeback win over Real Tamale United.

The results ended the Phobians’ poor run in the top flight where they had suffered three successive defeats.

But victory over the Tamale-based side came at a huge price, with the defender due for tests on Monday to discover the extent of the problem.

Hearts rallied twice from behind to record the important victory at the Accra sports stadium with Mahatma Otoo, Moro Iddrisu and Edward Affum finding the back of the net.

Of more concern to Hearts however, would their  failure to keep the opposition out. For the fourth time in six games this season, the capital-based club have found themselves behind.

Hearts will travel to Kumasi to face Kotoko in the country’s version of ‘El Classico’ on November 18.
