Hearts of Oak right back, Larry Sumaila says players in the domestic league are just waiting for the go ahead to resuming group training.

The defender reveals he misses the game, after staying home for five months following the halt of football due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in Ghana.

Despite the restriction placed on contact sport, Larry has been undergoing personal training, with the help of a detailed programme from coach Edward Nii Odoom.

“We are just waiting to be told to resume training and get back to real match situations”, he told Hearts Media, adding that playing football is all that they know.

“All players in Ghana wants to play football and the sooner we are allowed to resume playing, the better it will be for all”, Larry continued.

The 25-year old was an integral member of the team before the cancellation of the 2019/20 season.

The Ghana Football Association has earmarked the second week of October for the resumption of football, but the decision is subjected to a government approval.
