Hearts of Oak midfielder Eric Kumi has apologized after he got himself send off in his side's 2-0 win over Medeama

Kumi was by far the best player for the Phobians in their 2-0 victory at the T & A Park on Sunday.

The enterprising midfielder set up Cosmos Dauda for the first goals of the game and wrapped up proceedings with a well taken goal.

His performance was however marred by two avoidable yellow cards that resulted in his sending off.

His absence adds to a growing list of player who will are already out of the team.

Dependable goalkeeper Soulama Abdoulaye and Samudeen Ibrhaim did not travel with the team to Tarkwa and are doubt for the game against Dwarfs this weekend.

“I am really sorry for what happened but I did not know that I had already picked up a first yellow,” Kumi told Accra based CITI-FM

“But I am certain that even in my absence the team will do a good job as anyone is  capable of coming through to perform.” Hearts of Oak have had a dream start to life this season with two wins from two games and three games scored without conceding any goal.
