Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu is pleased with the team's pre-season performance.
On Wednesday evening, The Phobians recorded a 4-0 victory over Future Stars FC in a pre-season friendly.
In his post-match interview, coach Boadu expressed satisfaction with his team's performance and progress.
“It was a good exercise for us. The aim is to work on our team structure. The new players are jellying and that is a good thing. We still have more work to do,” Boadu said.
Hearts of Oak are in Kumasi for the second phase of pre-season training.
The club will return to Accra this weekend to complete preparations for the start of the 2022/23 season.
The Phobians will travel to Dormaa to face Aduana Stars on the first weekend of the Ghana Premier League season.
