Hearts of Oak-target Sulley Muntari hints at swan-song transfer to rivals Asante Kotoko

Former Black Stars midfielder Sulley Muntari is not ruling out a move to Ghana Premier league giants Asante Kotoko.

Muntari is currently without a club after leaving Spanish Segunda Division side Albacete Balompie early last year.

The 35-year-old has been linked with moves to Hearts of Oak and South Africa Premier Soccer League side Kaizer Chiefs.

However, the former Inter Milan ace has indicated that a transfer to boyhood club Asante Kotoko could be on the horizon during an interview Myfabulousonline.com

Meanwhile, the 2010 UEFA Champions League winner in an interview with Ghana News Agency in 2018 revealed his love for Kotoko and hinted that he would love to end his career at the Kumasi-based club.

“I love Kotoko. They tried signing me when l was a young player in Kumasi. I would love to retire with them, but l would not rule out Hearts, RTU, King Faisal or Liberty Professionals,” he said.

Muntari began his career with Liberty Professionals before breaking into Europe after signing for Serie A side Udinese.
