Hearts reject Kotoko's request for striker Otoo

Hearts of Oak have officially written to Asante Kotoko starting their striker Mahatma Otoo is unavailable for a move.

Kotoko enquired about the availability of the 20-year-old as they seek to bolster their squad for next season.

But the Ghanaian champions may have to look elsewhere after their sworn-rivals expressed their unwillingness to do business.

"They said the player has committed his future to Hearts as long  as his one year contract is concerned," Kotoko spokesperson Listowell Bukarson said.

"We however believe that the door is not completely shut on our interest in the player."

Otoo is one of the exciting attackers in the Ghana Premier League.

He was top scorer with four goals at the 2011 All Africa Games where Ghana won gold.
