Hearts of Oak midfielder Ibrahim Salifu has been named the May Ghana Premier League Player of the Month.
The talismanic midfielder beat competition from Aduana Stars' Sam Adams and Ismail Ganiyu of Asante Kotoko to win the award.
Salifu was twice voted Man of the Month in May, after scoring a goal and providing two assists as Hearts of Oak climb top of the table.
The 21-year-old has been in scintillating form for the Phobians since arriving from Techiman Eleven Wonders.
He is one of the players tipped for player of the season, after eight man of the match awards in the league.
He will be receiving a television set from sponsors NASCO and a personalized trophy from the Football Association.
