Ghanaian youngster Kwadwo Baah has undergone a medical at Premier League returnees Watford, per to reports in the UK.

Baah is on the verge of putting pen to paper on a deal to join the Vicarage Road outfit ahead of next season.

The highly-rated attacking Rochdale midfielder will be out of contract in the summer so Watford would only be required to pay compensation for the player.

Reports in UK indicate that the Hornets have offered £125,000 to acquire the 18-year-old.

The English-born midfielder has made improved drastically under Rochdale boss Brian Barry-Murphy this term.

The youngster could become Watford’s first signing since the club secured promotion back to the Premier League last weekend should the move materialize.

Baah was previously in Crystal Palace’s academy team.
