Asante Kotoko SC insurance partners Hollard footed for the bills of the surgery of goalkeeper Emmanuel Osei Kwame.

The experienced goalkeeper underwent a successful anterior cruciate ligament surgery at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi last Friday.

According to Opemsuo FM in Kumasi, Hollard Insurance paid around GH¢ 18,000 for the total cost of the surgery.

Osei has been carrying the anterior cruciate ligament injury for four years now after a poor rehabilitation after the first surgery when playing for Inter Allies FC.

The goalkeeper has since been discharged from the hospital and will continue his rehabilitation process from home.

In an interview with Kotoko Express App, Osei thanked Hollard Insurance for paying his medical bills.

"I also thank the club’s insurance provider, Hollard Insurance Company Limited for paying for the cost of the surgery. I am very grateful to the club, my teammates, and the supporters for their prayers and support," he said.
