How to watch Liverpool FC Legends vs Manchester United Legends - team news and kick-off details

Published on: 23 September 2022

The international break means Manchester United are not in action this weekend.

But fear not, as there is still a mouth-watering fixture in prospect when a team of United legends take on their Liverpool counterparts for a good cause.

United lost the first 'Legends of the North' fixture at Old Trafford back in May. That charity clash raised over £1.3million for the Manchester United Foundation and now the two teams will do battle again.

This time they will meet at Anfield with United, set to be bossed by former striker Andy Ritchie with Andy Cole as his assistant, eager to get revenge after a 3-1 defeat last time out.

Ahead of the game, here's all you need to know.

The match takes place at Anfield on Saturday, September 24. Kick-off is 3pm.

Match tickets are still available to purchase from the official Liverpool site.

If you cannot get to the game itself, the Manchester Evening News will be on hand to provide a live blog of the match.

MUTV, United's dedicated channel, will not be screening live coverage of the match although subscribers to LFCTV, Liverpool's in-house channel, will be able to watch it.

Both teams have confirmed the following squads for the match.
