Ghanaian forward Kevin-Prince Boateng is so happy that he is living the dream of ending his playing career at Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin.

At 34, Boateng has joined his boyhood club on a season-long loan deal with an option for a further season. And it is expected that Boateng will announce his retirement when his time at Hertha is done.

It is a promise Boateng has made on several occasions, so securing the free transfer is something he feels really excited about.

“I started dreaming about my career in Bringing Berlin to an end, this dream is just about to come true, I am living in my dream. I only felt more happy when my children were born," Boateng said.

The 34-year-old, who came to Hertha for the first time at the age of ten and made his debut in the professional team in the Bundesliga in 2005 before being transferred to Tottenham for 7.9 million euros in 2007.

He went on to play for several top European clubs including Barcelona and AC Milan. At both clubs, he won league titles, however, his impact was felt more at Milan.
