I am staying at Aduana Stars- Yahaya Mohammed confirms after Ashantigold move collapse

Aduana Stars forward Yahaya Mohammed has disclosed he is not moving to Ashantigold after a deal to join the Miners hit the snag.

The experienced attacker was close to joining the Obuasi based lads on a season long loan following their engagement in continental football.

Ashantigold had concluded talks with the forward and agreed terms, however, they failed to reach an agreement with Aduana.

“Ashgold were willing to sign me on loan and I tried everything possible to join them [Ashgold]. I don’t have the final power because I have a running contract with Aduana Stars and I have to respect that. They [Aduana Stars] have the final authority and whatever they’ve decided, am cool with it," Mohammed told Wontumi FM

“Currently, am not ready to play for any local club aside Aduana Stars.. Nana Agyemang Badu II is my father and after meeting him, I have decided to obey his decision and am staying at Aduana Stars," he added.

Mohammed will be hoping the Ghana Premier League returns soon, after an outstanding campaign in the first half of last season before the campaign was truncated. He netted 12 times in 15 games.
