Ghana forward Abdul Majeed Waris has returned to France after playing in his nation's AFCON 2017 qualifiers.
The red-hot forward was unable to get onto the score sheet for his nation but put in a spirited performance on the pitch any time he was given the opportunity.
Waris set up Frank Acheampong for Ghana’s first goal against Mozambique in Accra and will be happy with his contribution to the team though the disappointment of not starting will still linger.
He has now returned to France where his concentration will be on helping his Lorient side climb up the table.
