Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila’s top form in the Kuwaiti league is set to be rewarded with Portuguese top flight side Estoril keen on signing the experienced Ghana international.
The 23-year-old has been a massive success since joining Kuwaiti giants Al Qadsia in a ground breaking deal.
Sumaila a member of Ghana’s world Cup team in Brazil is by far the best defender in the Kuwait League this season with his performance ensuring Al Qadsia maintain first position in the league.
Clubs in Europe and South Africa are circling around to take the well built center half, who won the South Africa Premier League during his time with Mamelodi Sundowns.
Reports in the Portuguese media say top flight side Estoril have held talks with Al Qadsia with view of taking on the Ghana international.
Sumaila has spent a year and a half in Kuwait but is unlikely to stay beyond this season.
