2021/22 Ghana Premier League: Week 32 Match Report - Karela United 5-1 Real Tamale United

Karela United FC run riot over relegation threatened Real Tamale United at the CAM Park in Nzema-Aiyinase to return to winning ways on Sunday in a grand style.

Umar Bashiru and Samuel Atta Kumi scored two goals each to ensure the Pride and Passion club ended their two-game winless run with a 5-1 resounding victory.

Bashiru bagged his 13th goal of the season to open the scoring for Karela in the 33rd minute after converting a penalty kick.

Mathew Kelvin Andoh doubled the advantage for the home side before the break. Bashiru scored again in the 78th minute.

RTU pulled one back through defender Hedir Mohammed who headed home a cross in the 82nd minute.

Atta Kumi scored twice in quick succession to complete the rout for Karela with the goals coming in the 85th and 90th minutes respectively.

Karela move the 4th position on the premiership standings with 48 points after 32 matches whilst RTU remain at the 15th place with just one point above the relegation zone.
