Asante Kotoko SC defender Samuel Frimpong has extended his stay with the club for further two years, the Porcupine Warriors have announced.
Frimpong had few months left on his contract to be expired but after fruitful discussions, the right back has penned a new deal.
The 23-year-old defender joined Asante Kotoko in 2018 from second-tier side Bekwai Youth Football Academy.
Frimpong spent the 2019/2020 season on loan at Karela United FC before returning to the Porcupine Warriors in January 2020.
The versatile footballer has been a key member of the team in the Ghana Premier League this campaign.
He has made 15 appearances for the Reds this season.
