Ghana defender Joseph Aidoo is set to miss four league games for Celta Vigo should he make it to the Africa Cup of Nations.
The 2021 AFCON tournament kicks off next year January with a host of European clubs losing their key players to the tournament.
Aidoo who has been part of the Black Stars team during the 2022 World Cup qualifiers will miss a number of games for Celta Vigo depending on how far the Black Stars go in the tournament.
He will miss the La Liga games against Real Betis, Real Sociedad, Osasuna and Sevilla.
In addition, if Celta continues to pass rounds in the Copa del Rey, Aidoo will miss the round of 32, round of 16 and quarter-final matches.
If the Ghanaian team reached the semifinals, Aidoo would miss another league match and the first leg of the Cup semifinals.
