Ghanaian defender Kingsley Schindler returns to FC Cologne side in heavy win over Borussia Mönchengladbach

German-born Ghanaian defender Kingsley Schindler  climbed off the bench to help FC Cologne in their 4-1 demolition of Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The 28-year-old, replaced ailing Jonas Hector and showed a convincing performance after lasting the last quarter of an hour.

This is the first time time since returning to the club that he has played more than twelve minutes.

The summer returner from Hanover 96 showed a decent 39 derby minutes after the first adjustment difficulties, with his side largely in control of the game.

There are currently many indications that Schindler seems to have overtaken Kingsley Ehizibue in the ranking.

Although the Dutchman has so far been able to collect three times the number of minutes played, Schindler recently seemed to be ahead of the game

The fact that Schindler was given preference again for almost an entire half in the derby against Mönchengladbach should have been the next clue.
