Inter Allies undergo COVID-19 test ahead of 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season

Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies have undergone the mandatory COVID-19 test ahead of the start of the new season. 

The players, technical team and staff were all tested as part of requirements for the start of the new campaign.

The COVID-19 test was carried out by the Ghana Football Association with the sports of the Ministry of Health.

"On Tuesday morning after training, the first team underwent COVID-19 testing under the supervision of the Ghana Football Association and the Government of Ghana," a statement on the club's website read.

"Together with the players, the technical staff and essential staff, 45 people were tested, with results to be communicated to us later.

"The exercise forms part of preparations towards the 2020/2021 football season.

"The much-awaited 2020/21 Ghana Premier League is set to commence from November 13 and preparations have started in full flow."

Inter Allies begin their campaign as hosts to Dreams FC in Accra.
