Inter have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain full-back Gregory van der Wiel as they attempt to secure his services in the January transfer window.
A meeting will take place between the Nerazzurri and the French champions in Doha with the two clubs poised to iron out details over the manner of van der Wiel’s departure.
According to Tuttosport, the Ligue 1 outfit are reportedly asking for a fee of €4 million for the 27-year-old and it’s also known that the former Ajax player’s contract with the French giants is set to expire in June 2016.
The Milanese outfit enjoy a healthy relationship with Les Parisiens which could play a pivotal role in their acquisition of the Dutchman.
Van der Wiel has made a total of 74 appearances for PSG and won three consecutive league titles since moving from the Netherlands in 2012.
