Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Twum scored the only goal for IK Start as they clinched a vital home victory to cushion them in their relegation fight.

Start pipped bottom placed Aalesunds FK 1-0 on Sunday at the Sparebanken Sør Arena to move up one place on the log in the Norwegian Eliteserien.

The 22-year-old found the back of the net in the 29th from close range following a corner kick.

The goal is Twum's very first goal for Start since joining them in 2018 from Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies FC.

The former Ghana U17 and U20 star has made 10 appearances and scored once in the Norwegian top-flight this season.

Start are currently sitting at the 14th position with just one point away from the safety places on the league standings.
