Egypt-based Ghanaian midfielder Torruc Jebrin has admitted that the resignation of Hossam Mido as the head coach of Ismaily has thwarted the efforts of the club to win this year’s Egyptian League title.

To him, the side was positive at the beginning of the season to annex the league title but the absence of Mido slowed down their winning streak making it difficult for them to win the title.

In an exclusive interview with GHANAsoccernet.com Torric said "We started the season on a very bright note under Mido and almost everyone knew we were set for the title. But the changes in the technical team affected us negatively."

"When Mido left, we played about five matches without a win and you can imagine where that can take us."

Ismaily had two different managers after Mido before finally settling in their current manager Khaled Elkamash.
